The December calendar was marked by holiday celebrations from Homestead-Florida City to Immokalee, Labelle and points north and east. Thanks to site managers, volunteers and generous supporters, more than a dozen celebrations took place. Events ranged from a neighborhood pot-luck celebration at Manatee Village in Ruskin to Santa Claus’ arrival at Timber Ridge at Sanders Pines to a senior luncheon at our newest Pollywog Creek Senior Housing community. Thanks go out to the many schools, churches and businesses that provided food and gifts to our children, families and seniors.
